Well, here we are at a perfect example of the positive power of social media.
I posted last week, under the fatigue of the long-awaited Mueller report, along with the disillusionment that has come with two years of Trump's lying and untenable behavior--with absolutely no ramifications-- and adding to all of that an AG who has no regard for the truth the American people deserve to know, a major dumb-dumb blunder.
Even more than reading NY Times Sunday Review or Politico analysis, you all, you who have weighed in with smart, educated debate points, have slapped me awake.
Of course, the Mueller investigation has led to a slew of revelations and indictments and, of course, the fully unedited document will reveal another mountain of leads to evidence of obstruction of justice by the president.
I'm not afraid to express an unpopular opinion. I have done so many times, especially during my 22 years as a columnist for NPR. But I also need to be humble enough to admit when I muck it up. If the likes of Elizabeth Warren can be strong in believing impeachment is a viable outcome of a thorough probing of the full Mueller Report, then by all means let's dig.
